SHENZHEN, June 7 (Xinhua) -- The 19th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair will be held from June 7th to 11th. Since its official launch in Shenzhen in 2004, the fair has seen continuous growth in exhibition scale, visitor numbers, and internationalization, evolving into a key engine for promoting the development of China's cultural industry, an important platform for Chinese culture to go global, and a crucial window for expanding cultural opening-up.

This year's fair will be held mainly offline, with online and offline integration, further enriching the exhibition content. Among them, six exhibition halls are set up offline, namely the Digital Culture Hall, Cultural Industry Comprehensive Hall A, Cultural Industry Comprehensive Hall B, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Hall, Cultural Tourism Consumption · Belt and Road International Hall, and Intangible Cultural Heritage · Arts and Crafts · Art Design Hall.

The Cloud Cultural Fair platform will display cultural products and projects according to the classification of exhibition halls and exhibition areas, use panoramic shooting technology to simulate offline display scenarios, synchronize offline exhibition content on the cloud platform, and strengthen online transaction functions to create a "Digital Cultural Fair."

This year's Cultural Industries Fair highlights the improvement of transaction functions. It innovatively holds a series of industrial activities to promote transactions, such as the Cultural Industry Investment Promotion Conference and the Cultural Industries Fair Innovation Project and New Product Release Conference, providing a "first show" platform for new products and new projects at home and abroad; it joins hands with e-commerce platforms to create a series of consumption promotion activities to help exhibitors accurately connect with online and offline buyers, and create new cultural consumption scenarios.

Second, it highlights the improvement of internationalization level. During the exhibition, international cultural activities will be held to expand the Cultural Fair's international circle of friends, and more than 20,000 overseas professional visitors from more than 100 countries and regions will participate in the exhibition.

While showcasing the development achievements of the national cultural industry and promoting the innovative development of the cultural industry, the Cultural Fair has also driven the rapid development of Shenzhen's cultural industry. In 2022, the added value of Shenzhen's cultural industry accounted for 8% of the city's GDP, the number of cultural enterprises exceeded 100,000, and the number of employees exceeded 1 million.
