Calligraphy Exhibition Celebrating Tea Culture Held in Xinyang Tea Garden

A calligraphy exhibition celebrating tea, featuring works by numerous well-known figures, was held in a high-altitude tea garden in Xinyang, running from April 28th to May 3rd, 2023. This event saw masters wielding their brushes to celebrate the prosperous era and praise Maojian tea with their ink. Coinciding with the grand opening of the 31st Xinyang Tea Festival, the grand calligraphy exhibition of tea-themed works by hundreds of famous artists made a stunning debut at the Hejiazhai Peak in Shihegang, the origin of Xinyang Maojian, the original producing area of famous branded teas, and a popular scenic spot in the tea region.

The purpose of holding this calligraphy exhibition is to promote the integration and development of Xinyang Maojian tea culture and tourism, enrich the cultural heritage of Xinyang Maojian, promote the cultural brand of Xinyang Maojian, and boost the revitalization of tea villages. The works all center around the theme of Xinyang Maojian, with the scenery of the tea region as the backdrop. Through the artistic touch of famous calligraphers, they artistically showcase the fragrance and sweetness of Xinyang Maojian, the beauty of the tea garden scenery, the diligence and kindness of the people in the tea region, and the beauty and goodness of life in the old revolutionary area. I think it's a great way to showcase the local culture and promote tourism.
