On June 21st, the "Harmony in Diversity" 3rd Yongqingfang Performing Arts Month, guided by the Publicity Department of the CPC Guangzhou Liwan District Committee and hosted by Guangzhou Vanke Enterprise Co., Ltd., officially commenced.

The 3rd Yongqingfang Performing Arts Month continues the original intention of bringing art into life, creating a free and open environment, bringing excellent creations such as dance, Cantonese opera, and drama to public spaces, organically integrating tradition and modernity, and creating an immersive audio-visual experience with "zero distance" and "interactive" performing arts, leading citizens to participate in the art event in a relaxed state and feel the charm of urban culture. It is reported that from June 21st to July 14th, art teams from all over the country will gather in the Yongqingfang district, presenting a collection of masterpieces for free. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!
Among them, the Guangdong Modern Dance Company will bring "Cantonese Eyes and Ears," a work that takes Cantonese opera art as a guide, linking traditional Lingnan culture with contemporary dance art, seeking in-depth imagination in the current social development trend, and outlining a beautiful vision of cross-border dialogue between traditional and modern art.
The Guangdong Song and Dance Theater will lead a group of national-level popular actors to perform on the same stage, allowing high-quality song and dance works to enter the lives of citizens from traditional theaters.
The Cantonese Opera Art Museum will carry out Cantonese opera excerpt flash performances and Cantonese opera cultural experience classes, painting opera makeup, wearing opera costumes, and learning drama, allowing citizens to appreciate the charm of Cantonese opera culture from multiple dimensions.
In addition, many new forces are participating, including Project O, Cao San Drama Club, Empty Shell Drama Studio, and Growth Theater, young art teams that will bring new creations and debut dances and dramas. Among them, graffiti artist MEGIC presents the "Mountain and Sea Breathing" art installation with his unique gold-lacquered woodcarving graffiti style, allowing citizens to feel the energy of original art up close.
