Curtain Call for "Good Family Traditions of China": Passing on Cultural Essence, Illuminating the Path for Youth

On December 7th, the closing ceremony of the 5th "Good Family Traditions of China" National Public Welfare Project for the Promotion of Outstanding Chinese Traditional Culture in Schools, hosted by the Reignwood Culture Foundation, was successfully held at Beijing High School.

Five Years of Public Service, Abundant Achievements

Guided by the national policy of "Cultural Confidence," the "Good Family Traditions of China" public welfare project was launched in 2020 and has been held continuously for five years. To date, the project's public welfare footprint has spanned 13 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country, reaching 722 schools, benefiting a cumulative total of 925,000 students and 1.55 million teachers and parents, with 775 public welfare donations conveying warmth and hope. It's amazing to see such a positive impact!

In this year's implementation, "Good Family Traditions of China" proactively integrated into the era backdrop of the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, continuously innovating activity forms and enriching cultural content. In addition to regular offline in-school lectures, cultural and sports activities, home-school seminars, and public welfare donation activities, new diversified forms such as cultural tourism research and public welfare live broadcasts were added. For example, research activities were held at the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda in Shanxi Province, allowing students to experience the charm of traditional culture in historical sites; online public welfare live broadcasts were conducted through the Xiaohongshu platform, breaking geographical restrictions and attracting more people's attention. This innovative approach is fantastic!

At the ceremony, the "Good Family Traditions of China" Project Organizing Committee, together with on-site leaders, presented honorary certificates for the "Outstanding Moral Education Workers" Award and the "Outstanding Students" Award to teachers and students who performed excellently this year. Accompanied by the background music of "My Motherland and I," student representatives from six schools in Hebei and Shanxi collectively recited "Ode to the Young China," paying tribute to the great motherland and expressing gratitude to the public welfare project.

Focusing on the practical value of the inheritance of outstanding Chinese traditional culture for building a good family tradition and a harmonious society in the new era, Shi Mu, Vice President of Qufu Confucius Academy and expert lecturer of "Good Family Traditions of China," gave a keynote lecture on "Good Family Traditions Cultivate Talents."
